Loft - large, usually unpartitioned floor over a factory, warehouse, or other commercial or industrial space.  Such a floor converted into an apartment or artist's studio.

  The first loft development began construction in 1999.  Loft buildings usually include amenities like gymnasium, pools, spas, garages, clubhouses, storage areas, etc.
